Little Big Bed

Our little girl is almost ready for a big bed, so I've decorated her room and arranged her bed and toys. She is still to make the official move but the bed is there and waiting for her. Whenever she is ready...

New Year 2017

New Year has been here for a while... It's February already! So far it's been good. January was great for slowing down, staying in and cosying up on a sofa or in bed. And catching up with friends and cinema nights. And board games evenings - ok just one so far but a really good one! Forgeting about the very important event of our dear little girl birthday party. I really enjoyed making the cake and all the prepartions. 

It's Almost Christmas!

Long time no post! So many things have been done, created, cooked and made.

Fast forward to the most exciting time of the year - Christmas time! Anticipation is growing and we are almost there. House is decorated, gingerbreads baked and Christmas tree already glowing in our leaving room. Also today I posted greeting cards. But still many things to complete. Here are so snaps of the house decor, handmade cards and gingerbreads. Still to be decorated. 

Looking forward to finishing up all my projects and spending some quality time with family relaxing on the sofa. 

Easter celebrations

Just a short mention of a wonderful and delicious Easter celebrations we had this year. Spent it in Warsaw with my family in a pretty traditional style - loads of delicious food and some spring family walks. Perfecto!

Forgot to mention we visited proffesional ballerina's outfit shop and got everything needed for little H!

Mums weekend away!

Recently I was lucky to go away for a weekend to Madrid with my friend. She is also a mother and this was our weekend away without our kids! For me it was only second time I have left my child to go on a trip. Even if the idea seemed a bit scary at first I must say we both survived! Had a great time over there and what's the most important I was looking forward to seeing my baby and my hubby so so much. It definitely made me appreciate them even more. We sometimes take it for granted and it was nice to remind myself again how lucky I am to have my little family!

 We mostly walked around shopping discrict visiting little butiques and bigger department stores without pressure of doing typical touristy things - it was great and relaxing! My new experiences include:

- trying churros 

- eating some local dishes ( cold soup)

- using a bus in Madrid!

It was great fun!

Happy Dress

I find it hard to find pretty and stylish dresses for my little girl. Dresses that would have this elegant charm and sweetness without being to cute. Too many times I see overload of that awful bright shade of pink screaming from the shelves and hangers in girls section. Overuse of bows, frills and cequines doesn't help either.

Therefore when I spotted this dress I knew that we need to get it, that it was so unique it would be terrible to miss it. We wear at crafts market and the dress is hand made and designed in Ireland. It possess this old fashion, timeless charm and is beautifully finished. It was created by brand called HappyClose. Can't wait for the little one to wear it next summer!
